F15EV aspects

Full Range Series F15EV F12H F12

The F15EV is a high-output, three-way large-format point-source loudspeaker system, exceptionally compact for its performance class. Housed in a single wide-bandwidth, fully horn-loaded enclosure, it delivers outstanding acoustic performance across a frequency range from 65 Hz to 20 kHz.

The advanced design enhances the acoustic efficiency of the low-frequency, mid-frequency, and high-frequency sections, maximizing output while maintaining excellent clarity and coverage. The system features:

  • 1 × 15-inch (380 mm) low-frequency driver utilizing hybrid horn/reflex loading technology;
  • 2 × 6.5-inch (165 mm) paper-cone midrange drivers coupled to a dedicated horn, covering the range from 350 Hz to 1.6 kHz;
  • 1 × 2-inch (50 mm) exit compression driver mounted on a 60° (H) × 40° (V) constant-directivity horn, operating above 1.6 kHz.

Each section incorporates advanced horn-loading techniques and proprietary design refinements that elevate the VH F15EV's acoustic performance to an exceptional level. The result is impressive output capability combined with smooth and consistent 60° horizontal coverage throughout the operating range.

The midrange and high-frequency horn design delivers both increased sensitivity and precise directivity control, ensuring uniform frequency response and excellent intelligibility across the coverage area. The transducer complement has been carefully engineered to provide optimum performance and reliability in every frequency band.

The VH F15EV is housed in a vertically oriented trapezoidal enclosure constructed from premium birch plywood and equipped with a proprietary rigging system designed for vertical array applications. A dedicated flybar system enables the creation of large-scale clusters consisting of multiple vertical arrays.

A range of splay angles allows precise acoustic coupling between enclosures, optimizing overall coverage and system performance. Comprehensive rigging accessories support fast and versatile deployment, including flown, ceiling-mounted, and ground-stacked configurations, offering maximum flexibility for a wide variety of installation and touring applications.

Stringent manufacturing standards, advanced technologies, and innovative materials ensure outstanding reliability and long-term durability. The enclosure is finished with a rugged PCP (Polyurea Cabinet Protection) coating that provides excellent resistance to impact, wear, and adverse weather conditions.

For extended low-frequency performance, the VH F15EV can be seamlessly integrated with the full range of Loud Professional Formula and VH subwoofers, delivering increased LF extension and enhanced overall system impact.

Applications: Theaters, Conference Halls, Concert Halls, Large Scale Discos & Clubs.
