MicrHome Sub is a compact high-performance subwoofer designed as the ideal low-frequency partner for home audio applications, delivering precise, controlled, and extended bass reproduction within a discreet and elegant enclosure. It is specifically engineered to complete the MicrHome Series, providing enhanced low-frequency support for everyday listening, home cinema, and multimedia applications.
The refined design, characterized by softly rounded cabinet edges and a premium Soft Touch finish, allows the MicrHome Sub to integrate seamlessly into modern interior environments. The system features a single 8-inch long-excursion woofer loaded into an optimized band-pass enclosure, designed to maximize acoustic efficiency while maintaining tight control over cone excursion and minimizing distortion.
The band-pass loading configuration provides superior control of low-frequency behavior, significantly reducing total harmonic distortion (THD) and delivering a smooth, accurate, and well-defined bass response that outperforms conventional direct-radiating subwoofers of similar size. This design ensures deep, articulate, and consistent low-frequency reproduction even at higher listening levels.
In addition, the optimized port design reduces turbulence and air noise while improving efficiency and extending the low-frequency response down to 45 Hz, with usable output reaching 35 Hz at -10 dB. This extended bandwidth makes the MicrHome Sub particularly well suited for home cinema systems, including Dolby surround configurations, as well as broadcast and studio monitoring environments where accuracy and control are essential.
The MicrHome Sub is designed to integrate seamlessly with the full MicrHome Series, including MicrHome, MicrHome Mini, and MicrHome Nano, extending their low-frequency performance while preserving the signature Loud Professional listening comfort, clarity, and tonal balance up to 20 kHz.
High construction standards, advanced manufacturing techniques, and innovative materials ensure long-term reliability. The enclosure is constructed from MDF Hydro and finished with a durable polyurethane Soft Touch coating, combining acoustic performance with refined aesthetics and structural durability.
