The system features an 8-inch long-excursion cone driver housed in an ultra-compact enclosure, optimized for maximum portability and installation flexibility. Its band-pass loading design significantly enhances acoustic efficiency and low-frequency extension, achieving performance levels that exceed conventional vented subwoofers of similar size.

This acoustic configuration enables the NucleoS to extend its low-frequency response down to 50 Hz, with usable output reaching 45 Hz at -10 dB. The result is a tight, controlled, and well-defined bass reproduction characterized by low distortion and excellent transient response, made possible by the inherent advantages of the band-pass design.
