Designed primarily for ground-stacked configurations, the 18R can also be deployed in cardioid subwoofer arrays, with one cabinet positioned rear-facing and processed via a dedicated amplifier channel. This configuration provides improved low-frequency control and significantly reduces rearward energy radiation.

With its high system efficiency, the 18R delivers impressive sound pressure levels while maintaining excellent frequency linearity. Its controlled transducer excursion behavior keeps total harmonic distortion (THD) extremely low, even at high output levels.
