Smart1.0 – Active Two-Way Full-Range System

The Smart1.0 is a two-way active full-range system featuring a 1-inch (25 mm) exit compression driver mounted on a 60° horizontal by 40° vertical constant-directivity horn, paired with a 10-inch (250 mm) low-mid transducer loaded in a bass-reflex enclosure.

The optimized bass-reflex design reduces turbulence and port noise at high sound pressure levels while improving low-frequency efficiency and extending the response down to 65 Hz.

Amplification and DSP

The system is powered by a high-performance Class-D two-channel amplifier module designed for applications requiring high output voltage and efficiency, delivering 2 × 1050 W at 8 Ω. This provides the ideal power platform for high-output two-way full-range systems.

Audio accuracy is ensured by a fixed-frequency switch-mode output stage that minimizes intermodulation artifacts, combined with the advanced “Control Plus” board, which improves signal-to-noise ratio by up to +6 dB.

The Smart amplifier module is an extremely compact integrated solution, combining power supply, output stage, DSP, and connectors within a single lightweight chassis. Its full compatibility across the Smart Series simplifies mechanical design and system integration.

A programmable DSP platform allows precise sound tailoring, supported by a full networking interface. Integration with the Armonía Pro Audio Suite enables advanced system control, customization, and the loading of four factory presets for common applications.

Performance and Applications

The Smart1.0 combines state-of-the-art onboard transducers with a Powersoft amplifier platform to ensure high fidelity, strong output capability, and consistent coverage across the listening area.

Designed for versatility, it is suitable for a wide range of premium sound reinforcement applications, including theaters, touring, portable live sound, corporate events, and concert halls.

It performs effectively as a main PA system in small to medium-sized venues, and can also be used as a front-fill, in-fill, or out-fill element in larger systems when combined with Smart Series subwoofers.

Installation and Rigging

The Smart1.0 can be pole-mounted using the integrated socket. A comprehensive range of rigging accessories enables flexible deployment options, including wall mounting, ceiling installation, stacking, and multiple orientation setups.

The system can also be suspended using M8 threaded inserts (three on the top and bottom panels, and two on the rear panel), ensuring maximum installation flexibility.

Construction and Integration

The cabinet is constructed from marine-grade birch plywood and finished with a durable, impact- and weather-resistant PCP (polyurea cabinet protection) coating, ensuring long-term reliability in demanding environments.

Thanks to its compact design, high performance, and lightweight construction, the Smart1.0 is highly portable and particularly well suited for mobile applications.

It integrates seamlessly with Smart Series subwoofers, significantly extending low-frequency performance and overall system impact.
