Its All Horn Loaded design features two high efficiency 12in. (320mm) low-mid transducers, two 6.5in. (165mm) midranges and three 1in. (25mm) special compression drivers mounted on individual horns and combined with a proprietary waveguide, giving a dispersion of 90° H x 10° V.
The result of using small format compression drivers instead of the competitors traditional large format, which are typically managed an octave lower, is a decreased distortion and an extremely linear and smooth response never tiring the ear at its most sensitive focal point.
It means that Layer212H delivers an incomparable high frequency response with much lower distortion than traditional large format compression driver devices.
The compression driver comprises a high energy neodymium magnet system and a unique flat annular ring diaphragm that it works similar as a wound 101.6 mm long ribbon diaphragm providing an extremely linear frequency response.
A dedicated phase plug provides a coherent planar wavefront output without internal diffraction for a crystal and transparent sound.
The MF design comprises two 6.5in. horn loaded midranges mounted on 90° H constant directivity horn giving an exceptional horizontal pattern control compared to the traditional direct radiating MF competitor design, for a truly consistent coverage.
Along with the better medium range reproduction and thanks to the special horn loaded design, really high is the efficiency achieved by the MF section.
The LF section houses two high efficiency 12in. neodymium drivers front-loaded by separate hyperbolic horns for maximum efficiency and rear-loaded by a vented box. An extra large reflex port reduces turbulence and air noise extending the LF output to below the natural horn cut-off point.
The hybrid configuration combines the greater sound impact of a bass horn with the low frequency extension of a bass-reflex enclosure. It significantly increases the system efficiency compared to direct radiator low-end designs of competitors.
A dedicated flybar kit allows to build large scale arrays up to 24 elements.
The flybar main frame enables the system to be also configured in ground stacked configurations.
A complete range of accessories such as three units dolly, single unit skate, protection bag and others make all operations easier and faster.

VH Layer212H cabinet is constructed from marine plywood and has an impact and weather protected PCP (Polyurea Cabinet Protection) finish.
It can be as well matched with all the most challenging Loud Professional Formula and VH Subwoofer systems, significantly boosting its LF extension.
